Sunday, we gathered for ‘The Wild Return to You: A Sovereign Experiment’ masterclass, a transformative journey back to that inner flame.
Eighteen powerful women from diverse backgrounds and countries, each with their own stories and medicine, came together in a shared presence, truth, and curiosity, empowering one another with their unique strengths.
What we wove together was pure gold. And it was… electric, not in the loud, flashy way of performance, but in the quieter, wilder way that happens when truth meets breath and voice.
This is what I imagined church should feel like when I was a young girl - alive, inspired, creative, free, and connected.
The Invitation We Stepped Into
We met all the parts of the self-abandonment pattern—the defenses, the wounded daughter, the whole woman, and the potent life force underneath them—in a creative, dynamic, organic way. We worked with this rhythm — meeting ourselves, allowing, witnessing, and contacting — and from that warmth, we let transformation happen naturally.
This natural rhythm of expansion and contraction is inherent in all life — in blooming, in birth, in death, in transformation. Consider how a dahlia opens to full bloom. A dahlia does not fling itself wide open all at once. She opens, pauses, contracts, then opens again. This rhythm enables her to blossom into her full potential. This is the rhythm of creation.
We weren’t trying to get rid of anything. We weren’t forcing breakthroughs and weren’t attaching to outcomes. We were not making things happen. There was no plan, nothing to chase, no goal.
Instead, we leaned into the feminine principle of being with what is and feeling — softening, aligning, opening, and letting life’s intelligence do its work. And it was glorious, pure gold!
What Happens When We Gather This Way
One by one, voices rose. Each person spoke from the place they had touched during the writing and embodiment practice. And something magic happened:
From the Mind: Stories of the inner judge, the critic, the punisher — voices inherited from parents, old partners, old roles. One participant realized her inner critic was her father’s voice. Another named “performer” archetype — part good girl, part mask — always showing up to look good on the outside.
From the Heart: Flames of the Lioness. The ferocity of the mother. The return to openness and love, even when things feel messy. One person shared how she was learning to speak her truths without closing her heart. Another spoke of feeling both soft and whole, able to let go without collapsing.
From the Body: The womb, the belly, the hips — places holding life force, numbness, shame, or power. One woman reclaimed he “pussy power.” Another felt life force returning after years of disconnection from a toxic ex. One described her home birth as the moment she knew her aliveness and strength.
And threaded through it all were moments of laughter, tears, and deep recognition.
Women remembering themselves — and witnessing each other in that remembering.
“…but you know it's hard to tell when you're in the spell if it's wrong or if it's real, but you're bound to lose if you let the blues get you scared to feel.” - Joni Mitchell
Noticing the Experiments Emerging
By the end, participants were naming the experiments they would carry forward into the 4-week live experiment:
Moving freely at home without concern for how it looks.
Returning to dance — even dance classes to honor that commitment.
Meeting the inner punisher with curiosity instead of fear.
Asking daily, What do I authentically want to feel? — and permitting themselves.
Practicing vibrancy. Power. Being alive and emphasizing wholeness.
Engaging from a place of boundaries and softness with adult children.
Small, potent seeds, already rooted in the soil of the group’s shared presence.
Why This Matters Now
We live in an era where speed and performance have replaced presence and connection. When “healing” often becomes another form of self-improvement pressure. When slowing down enough to truly feel is rare.
But when we gather like this, face-to-face, available and seen, we come together in our truth and power to share and witness our challenges, vulnerabilities, and joys.
We remember.
We remember that being Human was never meant to be a solitary project. It has always been a shared experience — told in stories, held in community, woven into song and dance, and shared in bread. We remember that our voices are not just for speaking; they are for weaving the belonging that heals the soul.
This is the heart of Remembering What It Means to Be Human — the ongoing practice of showing up whole, messy, and alive in the company of others to witness and be witnessed. To feel what it is like, to be held and to hold, and to celebrate and be celebrated.
We remember that expansion and contraction, wildness and stillness, are not opposites but partners in a dynamic balance. And in that remembering, we return to something ancient and necessary: Our humanity.
